Sunny days and warm evenings are the perfect time to sit down with your favourite book, especially if you are just about to head off on a summer break.
Reading has many benefits, it strengthens the brain and builds our vocabulary and also helps to prevent cognitive decline. It’s also a great way to relieve stress, as it allows the mind to focus on something else, this relaxes us and in turn helps us sleep better. It is also thought to help prolong lifespan, so a good book is more than just a great read, it’s full of health benefits too!

With all the talk of Freedom Day we thought we’d take a look at a few of the awesome places to explore in the UK. As lovers of the outdoors we’ve always felt free to explore, even during the strictest of lockdowns we were still permitted to go outside to exercise and even that gave us a chance to explore our own area, walk down that road we never had, take in a view we’d always drove past but never had time to look at.

A bit of sunshine does the trick doesn’t it. We have had a super weekend enjoying blue skies and the warmth of the sun. It’s amazing the difference it makes, sunshine boosts immunity, strengthens our bones and helps us feel great again and sleep better.

Over the past few weeks we have been quiet on Dust & Pine. This is so as a company we could review where we are heading as a business, and we wanted to ensure that we were making conscious decisions that promote diversity and inclusivity across all levels of our brand.
